It was, in style terms, identical to the original Trialmaster, but, made from Nylon, it was lighter and easier to wear. Now Belstaff has re-introduced and updated the XL500 jacket in a great range of retro colours.The outer fabric is Belflex, a material made especially for Belstaff by Dupont. Backed with a Microdry membrane, it is completely waterproof. Keeping warm is taken care of with a detachable quilted lining that is packed with 3M's Thinsulate padding.Of course, as with all Belstaff's motorcycle jackets, you get removable CE protectors in the shoulders and elbows.
