Glossary for DAB Digital Radios

DAB - (Digital Audio Broadcasting) - A digital radio signal transmitted within the same FM or AM frequency range as existing analogue radio services. The digital signal enables a greater number of channels within a given frequency range, and delivers higher quality audio than analogue radio. Listeners must have a receiver equipped to handle DAB signals.
