Blu-Ray - Blu-ray is the next-generation optical disc format, which was developed to enable the recording, rewriting and playback of high-definition video (HD), as well as storing large amounts of data. Blu Ray offers more than five times the storage capacity of traditional DVDs, storing up to 25GB on a single-layer disc and 50GB on a dual-layer disc.
Multi-Region - (Also Known As Code Free) - The world is divided into 6 DVD regions, and a normal DVD player can only play discs designed for that player's own region. A Multi-Region, or Code Free, DVD player is a capable of playing DVD discs from anywhere around the world.
HDMI - (High-Definition Multi-media Interface) - An uncompressed, all-digital, audio/video interface that connects any compatible digital audio/video source, such as a set-top box or DVD player, with any compatible digital audio/video display, such as a digital TV.
