Ludwig LM-302 snare drum 6 1/2x14
Pros: Looks ,bowtie lugs, it looks like a supra phonic, chrome plating Cons: the snare strainer, the steel shell, snare wires Review: I bought this snare three months ago the chrome finish looks great for an import , noticed right off it did'nt have ludwig heads it comes with a evans batter head ,so i changed heads remo white coated on top ,remo clear snare side on bottom ,im not a fan of the rocker strainer maybe the ludwig p-85 strainer would fix that problem of tuning the snare wires. the drum has a bit of a ring ,that can be good or bad it depends on the player ,it does'nt have a tone control so i used a thin ring over all the snare drum, you get the pro look, change the heads an wires tune it up a bit, you have a nice tight crispy ludwig snare drum. |
