Pros: Not many - it is quiet and the door can be reversed, that's about it.
Cons: Very poor temperature control within the fridge
Review: I would strongly deter anyone from buying this fridge. It is not fit for purpose. Right from day one, it had a 7 degree centigrade temperature fluctuation from top to bottom of the fridge (tested with several new thermometers, one per shelf). The bottom shelf was freezing (O degrees centigrade or lower), and the top shelf far too warm (7 degrees and above) with no cooling felt whatsoever. I might add that the fridge had not transported or left horizontal (as far as I know) and it was left the recommended 5 hours after installation before switching on. My salad foods kept freezing - and therefore going soft and rotten - on the bottom shelf, and the dairy foods at the top were unhygienically warm. I had to resort to switching these foods around, and couldn't use the chiller boxes at the bottom for salad or vegetables, as they would freeze. Not good. After a visit from an engineer (who tried fitting a new temp control unit, to no avail), we got a refund. In case this was a one-off flaw we got exactly the same model of Hotpoint fridge again.............but exactly the same problem. Even the engineer didn't see the point in coming out again to investigate and this second fridge was written off also. Needless to say, we will NOT be buying the same fridge again. I think it is a design flaw as the coolant doesn't seem to extend to the upper part of the fridge and the cool air does not recirculate throughout the fridge. Particularly bad when you open the fridge to get something out or put something in (I know, I know, silly me opening the fridge). The fridge is a complete waste of time, effort and money.
